Description
Due to continued growth, PPD is expanding our Biostatistics department in Bangalore. This is an exciting opportunity to join a multinational American based CRO that is growing and expanding in India. Joining our global clinical Biostatistics and Programming team, we offer more than statistical analyses. We bring a deep understanding of the science of disease and compounds, as well as provide valuable upfront study design and comprehensive planning assistance to our global client base. As part of our Biostatistics department, we currently have the vacancy of Programmer Analyst I/II & Senior Programmer Analyst I/II
Key Responsibilities:
As a SAS Programmer at PPD, you will be responsible for providing biostatistical programming support for various phases of clinical studies. Activities include importing/exporting data, reformatting raw data to CDISC and/or client specified analysis standards, programming and/or validating analysis data sets, tables, listings, graphs, ad hoc reports and regulatory submission deliverables. At a Senior level, you will serve as a project lead and have the opportunity to oversee work of other programmers on team.
Qualifications:
MS/MA degree in statistics, biostatistics, mathematics or related field.
Strong experience required from a CRO or Pharma company
Strong SAS programming skills (macros, SAS/GRAPH, and SAS/STAT) and understanding of database structures.
Ability to promote teamwork in a multi-disciplinary team setting.
Proven performance of required tasks, as evidenced in outstanding performance in current tasks and/or documented record of accomplishments.
For Senior level, evidence of strong management skills, as shown through management of multiple projects and/or staff members.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Good organizational skills with the ability to adapt and adjust to changing priorities.
Positive attitude and the ability to work well with others.
