Essential Function:
The primary responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Manager are to coordinate various activities within the Accounts Payable department, to ensure invoices, expense reports & vendor setups are processed on a timely basis and with the correct quality. The position is designed to ensure that top service levels are maintained for the company's employees, investigators, vendors and other Finance groups

Finance staff members at Shared Services Hub as well as
decentralized staff where applicable
External Relationships
Project Managers & other Internal Clients, SBU & other regional
Controllers, Outside Vendors, Facility and Purchasing departments
Key Accountabilities
- Manage Accounts Payable staff including respective systems and processes
- Ensure timely (drive for world-wide standard timelines) and correct processing of vendor invoices, expense reports, investigator & other payment requests, ensuring compliance to US GAAP requirements
- Ensure and certify SOX compliance
- Ensure posting AP activity to General Ledger
- Ensure reconciliation of all AP accounts on a monthly basis
- Help resolve invoice/payment issues with vendors and employees
- Maintain communications with other Finance departments regarding month-end closings
- Ensure compliance of internal AP processes with non-Hub locations
- Interact with internal and external auditors
- Ensure Local GAAP, VAT, Sales Tax and Other Tax requirements are met
- Ensure performance of inter-company reconciliation on a monthly basis
- Provide information out of AP/Expense system to HR for taxation and/or reporting
- Execute the Kofax workflow roll outs plans in Regions
- Be an SME for Kofax/BO reporting, design and develop E2E TAT reporting to drive efficiencies and improve process cycle time

- Reporting of 1099's (if applicable)
- Ensure timely and complete upload of pass-thru expenses for non-Oracle entities

- Plan best use of accounting resources to improve the day-to-day management of the business, introducing best practice and innovative thinking
- Undertake the full range of duties relevant to the leadership, management and development of the team to ensure their performance meets and or exceeds both the business and their own personal goals/objectives
- Maintain a positive, results orientated work environment, building partnerships and modeling teamwork, communicating to the team in an open, balanced and objective manner
- Participate in formal staff review processes e.g. performance and salary reviews to corporate standards and timescales.

Minimum Work Experience
- Significant relevant experience with increased level of responsibility
- Diverse computer competency with high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Knowledge of Oracle financials is a plus.
- Experience in an international environment is desirable

Education
- Degree in Accounting (or similar qualification)

Language Skills
- Excellent communication skills (English, both written and verbal) including the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
